Zoom $The Hyperloop is a new form of transportation being proposed by Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and Tesla Motors, which could get passengers from SF to L.A. in under an hour for a fraction of the cost. While details are still unrevealed, the railless concept may be similar to a maglev train while also using solar panels. Musk states that the system would be like a Concorde on the ground (i.e. the speed of sound) while generating more power than it uses. Oh, and did you know that the current cinematic version of Iron Man portrayed by Robert Downey Jr is based in part on Musk?
